ragnarok offline server

There are some mobile phones games, a DS game, Ragnarok Battle Offline, and if you really can't get enough of the RO world, there's a comic and T.V. I'm probably terribly biased though.Īny how, as other people have stated, no there's not a way to play this specific iRO server offline. Which is sad, I think it's their best game. I think that honestly it's a lack of interest on their part, I'm pretty sure they stated that at some point but I can't find the quote for you. I doubt if French Bread wanted to, they would be held back by copyright. Even official groups like Kaishaku (Steel Angel Kurumi, Kannazuki no Miko, etc) openly publish unlicensed fanworks of other series, like Persona. Just look at the sheer number of doujin works produced, and they are really open about it, comiket and the like. I'm not sure exactly how copyright laws work either, but Japan seems to let a lot slide providing no one complains about it. '開発元のグラヴィティ社公認です!' (Gravity is an official partner of the developer!) It's up for digital distribution in Japan on Melonpan's website now and the description says: It started as a doujin game, but was given official support and had a positive reception. I was under the impression that they did have Gravity's backing as it was advertised rather heavily on the Japanese and Korean official RO websites. (The latter of which I'm very excited for) Melty Blood Actress Again and Under Night In-Birth, specifically. Right now they're busy making 2D fighters. The last game they made in collaboration with Namekai wasn't very popuar (Gleam of Force) I doubt they could get away with making RBO2, because it means they'd have to get permission from Gravity as well as round up Harukaze Namekai (the artist responsible for doing the nice paper doll style animation) again. But sadly, French Bread are no longer a doujin company, but a fully fledged game design team.
